Baruntse is the most European preferred mountain. Baruntse was one the early Himalayan peaks recognized by Edmund Hillary’s team for climbing east of Everest. The mountain was first ascended by Colin Todd and Geoff Harrow in 1954 by the South-East Ridge. The peak is crowned by four summits on four ridges with a high rate of successful ascent on normal route via South Ridge. Despite being a 7000er, Baruntse Expedition involves various 8000m climb components, thus offering itself as an ideal training peak for higher climbing.
It is considered a semi-technical mountain but the extreme altitude and several exposed pitches near the summit will make this a very challenging climbing expedition.

Since it is in Everest Region, it is very beneficial for those who dream to trek in Everest Region. It also includes the climbing of very famous peak, Mera Peak and on of the most popular circuit Amphu Lapchha pass. So the reason, Baruntse is the best mountain for Expedition in Khumbu Region

Day:01. Arrival in Kathmandu:

• Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal. And the only International Airport lies here.So it the first entry and final exit point for all foreigner.

Day:02. Shopping and other paper work in Kathmandu

• Since it is expedition, the guide needs to check climbing member’s equipment. So it important for everyone. And the leader needs to be presented at Ministry of Tourism for the briefing and document collection.

Day:03. Flight to Lukla and trek to Chu Thenka:

• It takes around 40-45 minutes by flight to Lukla. Lukla airport may the the world’s one of the scary airport because it’s location and short runway. After reaching lukla, having breakfast we leave to Chu thenga on foot.

Day:04. Chu thenga to Chetar La

Day:05. Chetar la to Kote

Day:06. Kote to Thangnak

Day:07. Thangnak to Thare

Day:08. Khart to Mera La

Day:09. Mera peak summit

• Mera Peak-6476m high is one of the most popular peak of Nepal. We climb it as a part of acclimatization for Baruntse climb.
